The SDARL Summit is a new annual gathering for alumni and friends of SDARL! The event will bring together leaders from across cohorts for a dynamic blend of education, connection, and inspiration. The Summit will feature SDARL’s signature experiential learning opportunities that challenge alumni to continue growing as leaders while staying informed about the issues shaping South Dakota and beyond.

Equally important, the SDARL Summit will create space for reconnection and community. Alumni will have time to strengthen relationships across classes, share experiences, and celebrate the lasting impact of the program. By combining professional development with social engagement, the Summit aims to deepen the SDARL network and reinforce a shared commitment to leadership in agriculture and rural communities in our state.

Tentative Schedule: June 19-20, 2026 in Chamberlain/Oacoma, SD

Note: The SDARL Summit will conclude late morning of June 20 to allow sufficient time to reach the Prime Time Gala in Sioux Falls!

SDARL members from all classes, along with your guests, are invited to attend the first-ever SDARL Summit! This event is an opportunity to connect with the SDARL network and enjoy educational and development opportunities in a fun and relaxed environment. Spouses, children, and friends are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Lodging                                                                      

Lodging is at your own discretion and not included in the registration fee. You are encouraged to arrange the lodging you prefer, whether hotel, camper, camping, or commuting from home. A hotel room block will be announced soon. 

Dress Code                                                    

Please dress comfortably in whatever you prefer. Formal SDARL attire is not necessary!
