Brandon White

Brandon is the Feed & Aqua Research Director at Houdek’s technology and research center in Brookings. In this role, he leads research and development efforts of the company’s on-site extrusion feed mill and recirculating aquaculture lab, supporting Houdek’s commercial-scale soy fermentation production facility in Volga. Brandon was raised on his family’s farm in rural northwest Iowa where he helped grow corn and soybeans before moving to South Dakota in 2011, later earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a M.S. in Fisheries Sciences from South Dakota State University. Now residing in Arlington, Brandon and his wife, Kaitee, enjoy spending time outdoors with their two young children and visiting their families’ farming and ranching operations in northwest Iowa and Orient, South Dakota.
