Invest in the future of South Dakota.

We call donations to SDARL “investments” because you can expect a return on that investment through the leadership service of our graduates.

Why should you support SDARL financially? Because our graduates are people of action! You don’t see SDARL graduates sitting on the sidelines. They’re stepping up to service on commodity and corporate boards, in community organizations, in government, and in their families – leading and taking action. You can support SDARL to provide outstanding leadership development experiences to members of the program. Please consider an investment in SDARL today!

Your support matters.

SDARL receives no direct dollars from the state or federal governments. The leadership program is funded by investments made to the SDARL Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 corporation. It costs well over $20,000 for one person to complete the program. Participants pay about 25% of the cost, leaving about $16,000 needed for each class member to complete the SDARL program.

Program funding comes from companies, individuals, and partner organizations who share a passion for developing leaders who will keep South Dakota agriculture and rural communities thriving!

Planned Giving & Estate Gifts

Planned giving often represents the opportunity to make the largest contribution of your life to a cause you care about. This practice can not only change the financial landscape of the organization but it is also a great way to preserve your legacy.

A planned gift is one of the most impactful ways you can support SDARL's critical leadership work. You may be able to save on taxes, receive income for life, or enjoy other financial benefits - all while helping to keep South Dakota strong for years to come.

SDARL offers many options for planned giving. We work with donors privately and confidentially to develop options for planned giving that meet your needs and goals.
