Jennifer Henrie of Philip, SD will begin serving as the Program Director of the South Dakota Agricultural and Rural Leadership Foundation (SDARL) on November 16. Her duties include executing the organization’s flagship 18-month leadership program, and arranging programming for alumni and allied organizations.
Henrie most recently has been Director of Marketing for PharmD Live, a digital service that connects doctors and patients using innovative telehealth applications. She served as Marketing and Human Resources Manager for Philip Health Services where she recruited and trained employees in the rural healthcare industry. A Class IX graduate of the SDARL program, Henrie serves on the Badlands & Bad River Regional Economic Development Partnership and the Haakon County Public Library Board of Trustees. She has also been an elected representative on the Philip City Council.
“Jennifer’s knowledge of rural issues in South Dakota is vast, and her work on many SDARL alumni activities gives her great insights into delivering leadership programming,” said Don Norton, SDARL CEO. “She also will be an important part of the marketing communications program for the organization with her background as a researcher, writer, and project manager.
Henrie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota. She and her husband, Terry, live in Philip with their two children.
