Lora Berg (SDARL X) has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce. The social media release from the Brookings Chamber is below.

“A new year means fresh faces on our Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Help us welcome our new 2021 Board Members as we introduce them to you this next week!

First off, we have Lora Berg who serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the SDSU College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. She manages and directs marketing, communication and brand strategy to support SDSU’s land-grant mission of teaching, research and outreach. Lora helps tell the positive stories related to the college’s academic programs, South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station and SDSU Extension mission areas.

Lora’s husband, Dan, is an SDSU Electrical Engineering graduate. The couple have two sons, Ethan and Evan. They have lived in Brookings since 2015.

“We are truly fortunate to be able to work together to provide our students and their families with such a safe, vibrant community in which to learn and grow. I am extremely excited to be able to represent SDSU on the Brookings Chamber Board.”

We are excited to learn from and work with you, Lora – thank you for serving!”
