Six volunteers helped to prepare the meal and eight volunteers prepped and handed out the “to go” boxes filled with hot beef, potatoes, gravy, corn, and a cookie when the Farmers Feeding Families event took place on Tuesday, March 16th at the Banquet in Sioux Falls. Guests were also happy to have cartons of milk to take with them. The meal was sponsored in part by the South Dakota Beef Industry Council, South Dakota Wheat Commission, and Midwest Dairy.

Volunteers included: Richard Vasgaard, Kyle Huinker, Dave Poppens (SDARL III), Lynn Hurley (SDARL III), Luke Baldridge, Karen and Bob Thaler (SDARL III), and Ag United staff, Steve Dick and Heidi Zwinger (SDARL X).
