It was a fun day in Brookings at the SDARL tailgate event with Zoetis on September 9, 2023. Hosted by Craig Dybedahl (Class II) and Matt Dybedahl (Class IX), tailgating featured pulled beef sliders provided by Jon Nelson (Class VI). and summer sausage from Back Forty Beef (Kelly Brandlee, Class XII). SDARL alumni stopped by throughout the day, leading up to the sold-out game against Montana State. Billed as the Beef Bowl, the game is SDSU’s way of recognizing those individuals and firms involved in the beef industry in South Dakota. The Jackrabbits won the nailbiter game 20-16, surely due to all the fan support!
