Sam Schaunaman

Sam is a fifth-generation farmer in Brown County, SD, and currently works full-time at First Interstate Bank as a Commercial and Agricultural Lender. After graduating from Northern State University, he began his professional career with the Farm Service Agency, where he spent three years gaining valuable experience in agricultural programs and services. Today, he continues to be actively involved in his family's farming operation, while also managing his own farming endeavors. Balancing his career in agricultural finance with hands-on farming keeps him closely connected to the industry from both sides. Outside of work and farming, he enjoy spending time outdoors and relaxing with his Labrador, Jeanne.
